Hi, did anyone know how to move/arrange campaign activity/newsletter?
I created new nesletter and wanted to delete it, how to delete it?

Thank you in advance

Hi, there!
You should be able to delete a campaign or automation through that drop down menu following the selection of the “…”. I can see you accessed the menu in the bottom of your screenshot. Can you delete from there?
Also, please tell me more about the folder you wish to utilize. Shopify Marketing and Email currently does not have folders for organizing campaigns and automations. They are all stored according to release date.
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers!
Hi Winanno! Here’s how you can do it:
As of now, Shopify’s native Marketing > Campaigns section doesn’t support folders or manual reordering of campaigns. It also doesn’t have drag-and-drop or folder organization like you’d see in an email platform such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp. But here’s what you can do:
To delete a draft campaign:
Go to Marketing in your Shopify Admin.
Find the campaign (newsletter) you want to delete.
Click the three dots (⋯) on the right side of the row.
Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
Note: You can only delete draft or scheduled campaigns. Sent ones are archived and can’t be deleted.
Unfortunately, Shopify doesn’t support folder structures or manual rearranging of marketing activities yet. All campaigns are listed chronologically (by creation or send date).
Workarounds:
Naming Conventions: Use a prefix like Weekly – 2024-03-21 or Promo – Spring Sale to keep things visually grouped and easier to search.
Search Bar: Use the search bar in the Marketing tab to find specific campaigns by name.
Tags or External Tracking: If you’re sending newsletters regularly, you might consider tracking themes/dates in a spreadsheet or organizing content calendars separately.
If you need more flexibility — like folders, tagging, campaign filtering, or automation branching — an external tool like Klaviyo, Omnisend, or Mailchimp might help. These offer better email organization tools but require integration.
Let me know if you want help cleaning up your campaign list or crafting better naming strategies for future emails. Happy to help streamline your workflow.
