How can I attract more returning customers to my product?

Hey, From where can i get product have more returning Customer

Hi there, @Satyam_PB .

Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community!

First, I want to be clear that I know what you’re inquiring about. Are you asking about what type of product you can stock in your store to have returning customers? Or, are you asking what sort of tools you can use to have customers return to your store to purchase more product?

If you’re looking for information regarding the latter, I’m more than happy to have a conversation with you on that topic! Customer Retention is a huge part of online business, so being able to built a program around bring customers back is always great. Below I have a list of a few tips you can use to bring customers back:

  • Customer Loyalty Programs - We have several customer rewards and retention applications, such as Smile that reward your customers for shopping on your website. Programs such as this incentivize customers to shop your store frequently for the chance of some rewards for doing so.
  • Returning Customer Emails - For customers that you have an order from, you can create an email group called ‘returning customers’ where you can blast them with marketing emails, and even emails with discount codes, to invite them back to your store to shop. A discount code is a powerful tool to bring folks back to a business, and a discount code often leads to customers buying more than they would originally. You can even make an emailing group for people whose emails you’ve collected and try this same tactic on them.
  • Product Reviews - Enabling the ability for customers to leave reviews for products or services they’ve received is another way of bringing people back to your store. Folks love sharing their opinions so giving them an opportunity to share about your products or services would likely bring some back, and they may even buy more! Here is a link to Shopify’s own product reviews app: https://bit.ly/3zMk6nR

These are just a couple tips I have on customer retention! If you’re looking for a product that would bring customers back, please let me know so I can look into some information on that topic for you, as well.

Hope to hear from you soon, if you have any additional questions, I mean!

Hi,
My query is this only Are you asking about what type of product you can stock in your store to have returning customers?
I want to know each product and their respective returning customer with details.

Hi there, @Satyam_PB !

Thanks for your reply, and that clarification!

You should be able to see this information by using the ‘Analytics’ section of your Shopify Admin. If you go to ‘Analytics > Reports’, you can navigate to the report titled ‘Sales by Product’.

Using this report, you can get a breakdown of sales information for all of the products in your store. On the right of this analytics section, you’ll see a button that says ‘edit column’. You can click on this column and add customer information to the report. You can add the ‘customer name’ or ‘customer email’ column to the report, along with the ‘orders’ column, and this should break down how many customers placed orders for a product, and how many customers placed more than 1 order for a product. This will help you see what products bring in your return customers.

Additionally, you can use the ‘Customers’ section of your Admin to track specific customer details. You’ll be able to see how many times a customer has ordered from your store, along with what their orders were. There is also a ‘Customers’ Report in your analytics that you can use to track the average order value of these customers, as well.

The analytics section of your store houses plenty of information for you, so you should be able to find the specific info you’re looking for there! If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Hi,
please tell me from where I can get all return customer details like order id, customer details, product, listing, revenue. I want all 395 customer details only.

Hi there, @Satyam_PB .

Thanks for your reply, and your additional question!

It sounds like what you’re looking for is a specific report that generates very specific information about your customers. Depending on your Shopify Subscription, you actually have access to a group of reports in your analytics all related to your Customers. This section of your analytics is available to users of the ‘Shopify’ Plan, or higher. You can find information on these reports, and the data they provided, at this link: https://bit.ly/3qVFy6Y

However, much of the information you’re looking for is still locatable with the available sections of your Shopify Admin, and currently available reports. If you take some time to view the product reports within your analytics, you should be able to edit the columns of data that appears there, so you can break down products based off of what customers purchased them and how many times. This will also show you how much money was spent on those orders.

For customer specific information, you have access to the ‘Customers’ section within your Shopify Admin. From here, you can see all of the created customer accounts in your store, along with the details they’ve shared with you, such as their emails. You can see the orders they’ve placed, the products they’ve purchased, the value of those orders, and more. This information can show you some some of the information you’re looking for. With both of the above sections, you will be able to compile the information you seek.

Since you appear to be looking for all of this information to be readily available within one report, please read the support document link I provided in my first paragraph to learn more about the ‘Customer’ Analytics section, and the plans one’s store needs to be on to access it.

I know that personally, people are looking to get more out of their analytics, or are looking to generate specific reports. Thankfully, our third party app partners have created several great applications that help you generate the reports you’re looking for, without upgrading your plan. I recommend you check out ‘Better Reports’, as this application will allow you to generate a report with the information you’re seeking all in one place.

If you have any additional questions, please reply to this thread and I’ll get back to you.

You can use our app Report Toaster. If you are on the Basic or Shopify plans, then it will be free to use. Feel free to check it out and please let us know if you need any help.
