How can I automate customer confirmations for personalized orders?

Hi,

I am offering personalized products. After checkout, I would send an Email to the customer, showing a prewiev of the product. After the customers confirmation or a defined period (e.g. 24 hours), I’ll start manufacturing.

Is there a way to automate this, ideally within the Shopify realm?
