I’m looking for a solution to a problem I’m having.

On our store, we sell products and subscription to products (e.g., 1 bottle of x supplement or 1 bottle of x supplement delivered every x days). We use ReCharge Payments to power our Subscribe & Save offering. In order to manage their subscriptions online, customers must have a Shopify account. So, I need to find a way to automatically deploy Shopify account activation emails to new subscribers.

I’d like to send automatic account invitations to new customers containing the “Active Subscriber” Customer tag. Ideally, I’d like to use the “Customer Account Invite” in Shopify Notifications.

If you have any app recommendations, I’m all ears!

I would recommend “InviteYard — Invite customers” app by MerchantYard, It allows you to automatically invite new customers on an ongoing basis to activate their accounts as soon as they make a guest order.

It also uses your existing Shopify Account Invite Email template so no additional setup is needed.

MMmhh, to do it automatically I’d guess you’d need an app.

Otherwise you could try to adapt the flow in this article, so it only triggers for customers with the tag. It requires the customer to click 2 consecutive emails.
