How can I automatically update unfulfilled order status in Shopify?

Hi,

We have a solution exporting automatically order out of shopify to our ERP.

So we manage shipping, invoicing and inventory in our ERP.

But it means to orders remain “Unfulfilled” in shopify.

We have the possibility to export a text file out of our ERP with orders fulfilled + tracking number + carrier + …

So, I’m looking for a way to import a file in shopify that will update the order status.

So you know such solution ?

It would be perfect if it could have some automation, like retrieving the file from a FTP server.

You can actually do this in Parabola, where you can use the Pull from FTP file step to bring in your ERP data and then send it back to Shopify to update your store’s data.

This is the app that would do exactly what you need: DataJet.

It has OOTB task called Import fulfillments from FTP, which takes a file from your FTP and based on its content creates fulfillments in Shopify.

There is also another task called Import fulfillments from local file where you are able to select a file from your local machine and based on that create fulfillments.
