Hi Guys
We set up Clearpay on our site (which we removed quite quickly as we didn’t like the designs) but ever since we have had what looks like a bot abandoned a cart at the time every day.
The email address ends in clearpay.co.uk and the BOT abandons a cart at the same time every day on the same product. It even ads in Clearpays head office address in London.
I’ve escalated this to Clearpay, who are adamant this isn’t one of their email address so it must be a BOT.
I have no idea why a BOT would be pretending to be Clearpay like this, but I need to stop it. Does anyone know how I can stop this BOT abandoning carts daily like this? The apps I’ve looked into seem to cancel orders once they are placed and don’t stop people using email addresses?

Looks like Clearpay running a test to see if the site is still active.
It may be that few people are using Clearpay on your site. (Few use it on mine) and they are trying to see if the site is working.
Weird that they aren’t just honest about it.

We never used them because their CS was so bad. I set it up and and asked them some tech questions which they failed to answer. So I uninstalled it completely from my site without ever using them. Then these abandoned carts start happening.
I escalated it to Clearpay but they said they checked with their security and they don’t have a mailbox in their business with that address so it’s not them? I said but it’s a Clearpay.co.uk address and they are entering your London address in automatically every time. Still the deny it is them.
