Hi everybody,
I have a problem about some auto-customers (spammers).
In recent days my website received many orders that didn’t have real emails, phone numbers,… (for example: sylnhkmvoqxb@hotmail.com, eujdnlbvbov@yandex.kz, +62 895-0008-50000,…)
Could you help me the way to lock these spammers.
I hope to receive your help.
Thank you so much.
If there’s a chance that you’re experiencing bot-spam for your store continuosly, You can use the Shop Protector app for your store. Offering a 14-day free trial, this app charges $4.99/month USD.
And if you think that they are human spammers and see common trends, then the Locksmith appbe good to go with. If these spam forms are submitted again and again by the same “customer” names, the same email addresses, or the email addresses have something else in common (ex: ending in** @abc .com**) then you’ll be able to restrict your shop or certain pages from users using this app. After a 15-day free trial, Locksmith begins charging $9/month USD.
One of the features includes locking certain IP addresses; however, there isn’t a way to natively track your visitor’s IP addresses within Shopify. If you were wanting to consider using Locksmith to block specific IP addresses, you could look at using the IP Log app to actively monitor all IP addresses visiting your store. This can help you determine the IP addresses associated with those spam submissions and lock your site accordingly and it will cost you $10/month USD, after a 10-day free trial. All third-party apps will be supported by their developers, whom you can find the contact information for on their app pages.
Alternatively, you could also look at hiring Shopify Expert to help you to get developed custom apps with these features. I hope one of these solutions is suitable for your business! Please lemme know if there’s anything I can clarify.
Thanks

@Zworthkey Hi, could you help me with Shop Protector SP+. I wonder how to calculate fee +0.5% on revenue. It bases on real revenue or include all canceled revenue from canceled orders?
Yes sure,
For this we need to review your exact store issue. Why this is happing so. Could you please provide us developer access? So that we can debug on your store to go thorough live existing issue?
Thanks

@Zworthkey Thanks for your help.
I mean how to calculate fee +0.5% on “total revenue” (the revenue is only real revenue or include all canceled revenue that from canceled orders?). Because if “the total revenue” is include all canceled orders, it’s a big fee.
If you know the way this app calculate the fee, could you share me?
Thank you so much.
@Zworthkey I see that Shop Protect SP+ had cancelled all orders (include real orders and spam orders).
Could you help me another apps that can solve this issue (in my country, the main payment is COD).
Thank you so much.
