How can I bulk edit product data for Google Merchant Center in Shopify?

I’m struggling with the google merchant center connection. Google is saying I need to enter age, size, gender for my products. Shopify doesn’t really have these fields. If I go in to shopify I can add them if I click around in the google tab then it opens up a bulk editor for every item that’s available on google BUT I have to add each one manually. Like each product has a dropdown. Is there a way to do this in bulk? I have about 1000 products. I tried to export all of my products, added the fields to the csv file, import and that didn’t seem to save.

You can create a supplement feed by going to Google Merchant center > products > all products > download your products

Delete all the columns except id then add the specific columns you need to add. Then add this as a supplement feed.

Thanks! I tried the feed rules and not sure that it took. I still have the same error messages on each product.

I’ll try the spreadsheet one next!
