How can I bulk search orders by customer name or email?

Hi Shopify Community!

I track customer leads for my organization and would like to check Shopify orders to see if these potential customers end up ordering our product. Is there a way to do this in bulk by copying from my Google Sheet (lead name and/or email address) and copying to see if any orders have been made by that search criteria?
Thank you for any hints and tricks you can provide!

Hi, there.

Great question. One thing you can do is export your order history, and if you’re proficient with spreadsheets you can find the duplicates between the 2 spreadsheets.

Are you getting these leads from other customers? If so you can use a referral or affiliate app to track sales! I’ve linked a few for you below:

GoAff Pro

Referral Candy

I hope this helps. If your use case doesn’t match this please share more about how you’re getting referrals and we’re happy to provide our best solutions.

I’d also suggest checking out our complete referral guide! We cover everything to do for setting up your lead and referral campaigns.

My suggestion would be to export the orders to csv, then export your google sheet to csv and add them both to the same Excel workbook. Then you can use the XLOOKUP function to count how many orders you had for each lead, first order date, etc.

Hi @Cameron_FC

You can use the Lifetime Items sold to Customer sheet on Sheet Master | Shopify App Store
