How can I calculate compound shipping costs for multiple product orders?

I am not able to understand how to stack shipping costs if i order 2 of the same products. For instance my planter is 45$ with 17$ shipping, if i was to order 2 planters the cost would be 90$ but the shipping is still 17$ not 34$?? but the weight has also gone up so i have to charge more for shipping how do i fix this where i can get compound shipping for duplicate products

Hello @XavierD13 !

For the price of shipping to go up depending on how many products are ordered, you need to make sure that you are creating your shipping rates based on the weight condition, but you also have to check that the products have an assigned weight aswell.

If set up correctly, for example you could do orders 2kg or under for $10, but 4kg or under for $15 (and going upwards based on what you need).

Could you include a screenshot of the way you have your rates set up in Settings > Shipping and delivery so that I can see what is missing? Also, you can check that you have set up a weight for multiple products at a time by opening them in the bulk editor tool. This is done by going to Products and mass selecting the products you want to look into using the check boxes on the left, then you should see an Edit products button on the top:

From here, make sure to add the Weight field to display weights of all products and see if they are missing.
Let me know if you have any issues getting to that point.

Hi @XavierD13 ,

As @Lana_2 mentioned did you check your product weights? And are you also using multiple shipping profiles?
