How can I calculate shipping costs based on product weight and dimensions?

Hello All,

Hoping someone can help with this. We offer a variety of products for sale and each item ships in it own box with unique dimensions and weights. There doesn’t appear to be a way to have specific costs based on product. We are using our own UPS account and I’d like to calculate the rates based on the products ordered and final destination. I do not want to offer flat rate shipping. Is there something I’m missing here? This seems like a pretty basic function.

We’ve been using an app called “ShipperHQ” for many years. It’s a bit complex to set up, but will do exactly what you want to do. Basically, you can put items in “shipping groups” or “dimensional groups” and then set up rates based on those groups. The rates can vary by destination, method and several other parameters.
