How can I cancel a customer's return on an online platform?

So we have a customer who was going to return one item so we started the return process on shopify and sent her a return label. Well now she wants to keep that item and return a different one.

How do I cancel the return for the first item? I want the order to reflect correctly what happened. If start a return process for the other item, it will look like 2 items were returned when it’s only one?

You can totally cancel the return of an item within your Shopify admin > Orders

Yes that’s only if the return is still in progress. Once it’s marked as returned there is no going back.
