I have been wanting to close an old account so i can use the email for the current account but im unable to do so.
It keeps bringing me back to the page to renew a plan. Can anyone help me please.

If you are being brought to a page to renew your plan when logging into your old account, that would indicate that the store is in fact closed. In order to confirm this for certain, you can contact our support team to have them look into the back end of your account.
With that being said, you are able to have multiple accounts using the same email address. So moving forward, please know that we have established a Shopify ID that allows you to do a single log-in and toggle between your accounts directly from the admin. At any time, you can update your account email following this guide.
