How can I cancel an unwanted Shopify membership?

I forgot about my Shopify account I was on a 3 month 1 pound memebership and I wanted to cancel because I don’t use the account then this morning I woke up and saw that they Tried to bill me but the money in my account was insufficient I do not want to pay for it as I do not need the membership can anyone help me please.

Are you still able to log in to your account? If yes, you will need to deactivate it following these steps here. If not, that means your store is already inaccessible and after 3 unsuccessful charge attempts the store will get deactivate automatically, so you don’t need to do anything from your end.

I understand that you may want to ensure it is cancelled immediately, so if you cannot log in, then you will need to get in touch with our Support team.

As you can’t log in, select ‘Can’t log in to your Shopify account’ and then immediately click on the ‘I still can’t access my account’ green button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you should see the ‘Get Support’ section, where you can select your preferred communication channel.
