I recently opened a Shopify online store. I was just charged 948. for POS Pro which I don’t need or want. How do I get this charge reserved and cancel this service? I believe it was pre-selected on the form I filled out to get a free trial. Help!

We’d love to help you with this. If you don’t need POS Pro, you can downgrade to the free POS Lite plan. You can follow the appropriate guide below to do this:
Desktop
- In your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
- From the Apps and sales channels page, click Point of sale.
- Click Open sales channel.
- Click Locations.
- Click Manage subscriptions.
- Click Choose Lite.
- Click Save.
- Click Approve subscription.
Mobile
- In the Shopify app, tap the ellipsis or the
...button. - In the Sales channels section, tap Point of Sale.
- Tap Overview at the top.
- Select Locations.
- Tap Manage subscriptions.
- Tap Choose Lite.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Approve charges.
As soon as you downgrade your POS plan, you can create a support ticket by visiting our Help Center and speaking with the AI assistant. Our support team will look into refunding the POS Pro invoice then.
