Hi, I want to cancel my Shopify’s plan as I got no sales. I’m still in the 14 days of trial, but I’ve added my credit card. Then how can I cancel the plan, and will I lose my money? If I’ll lose my money, could you consider a refund as I’m a student, how that money really means to me. Thank you so much!

Thank you for sharing your question with us. We totally understand if Shopify isn’t the right fit for you at this time, and that’s why we have made it super easy for users to cancel their subscription and close down their store right from the Admin.
Steps:1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.

Click Cancel subscription or Pause or cancel subscription.

Review the options to pause your subscription, or sell your store.

If you still want to cancel, then click Cancel subscription and close store.

Select a reason for the cancellation, and then click Continue.

Enter your password, and then click Close store.

@Olivia_2 I tried that, but it said “Invoice payment failed: Insufficient funds”, so I have 2 questions:

Does that sentence mean I have to pay for my shopify?

If I pay for it, will I get any refund as I think I’m still in trial option?
