How can I change collection and product URLs in my e-commerce store?

Hello,

I would like to make two changes on my shopify store.

  1. The collection url is https://website.de/collections/tee. I would like to change the collections to teeladen

  2. The product url is https://website.de/products/greentea. I would like to change the products to tee

How can I do this?

I am currently using Sense 13.0 theme version.

Hey @RajAyur

It’s not possible to change the URL’s in the way that you’re describing.

You can only edit the ‘handles’ (the text after the last slash “/”). The “products” and “collections” part of the URL cannot be changed (works the same for all Shopify stores).

I have a similar issue.

Somehow my url

/collections/abc has now become

/collections/abc/xyz

by default, my website opens up the …/xyz and the page does not display anything…I get the error message

No products found

Use fewer filters or remove all

by clicking “remove all” link displays all my products correctly with the original url.

Please suggest a resolution to this.
