There is a free app called Vario that will accomplish exactly what you’re looking for. The app allows you to customize the swatch styles for your product variant option buttons, colors, or custom images. Feel free to check out their app demo here.

That’s certainly possible @nadavhalevi however I do not have the coding prowess to assist you with that. You can always hire a developer from our Shopify experts directory to create a custom solution for you. Otherwise, that free app essentially has the ‘code’ loaded within their app and it will be added to your theme when it’s installed.
