How can I change header icons to text in the Dawn theme?

I am looking to change the search, account, and cart icons in the header to text that read “SEARCH”, “LOGIN”, AND “CART” if possible, I would like the search to be a box where one can type directly into the box instead of opening the search drawer that pops in from the top of the page

I have found solutions for older themes but not DAWN theme

This task will require some technical HTML/CSS skills, as you will need to change the search box.

For the icons to be changed you can probably do it in your header.liquid If you need further assistance please let me know.

Yes, I would love assistance in changing the icons to text for starters, I can live with the drawer search for now, I was able to code in the live search box in old themes so may have to look into those and see!

For now, i’ll take the help switching icons to text on the site.
