How can I change my current blog URL?

Hi,

My current blog URL is www.store.com/blog/weblog I wanted to change it www.store.com/blog/ Like this.

How to do this?

Hi, @arnika !

The URL for blog pages will always begin with store.com/blogs/, followed by the title of the blog. The /blogs/ part of this URL cannot be removed, and there are two reasons for this:

  1. Shopify is built on Ruby on Rails, which uses a process called routing to organize your store and keep things running quickly.
  2. You can have more than one blog on your store. This is typically done to organize posts into topics. For example, if you sell kitchen goods, you could have one blog for product information, and another blog for recipes.

If you ever need to edit the handle of a URL, that can be done by clicking Edit website SEO. In that section, you’ll also be able to edit the meta description which will appear in search engine results.
