How do I change my shopify domain link.
Hey, if you own a domain name you can connect it to your store in the settings.
Go to: Settings->Domains.
There you will be able to connect a domain you own or purchase one.
If by changing the domain you mean to change the “example.myshopify.com” link, it is not possible. the only solution is to close the existing store and open up a new one.
Hi, @Yamudass .
Welcome to the Shopify Community.
As @StudioEnchant has mentioned, you can update/change your domain name by connecting a third-party domain to Shopify or purchasing a domain.
To expand on that a bit more, you can purchase a custom domain through Shopify. If this domain is the first domain that you add to Shopify, then it’s automatically configured to be the web address that’s displayed to customers.
If you’re connecting a third-party domain to Shopify, then you still use the third-party domain provider to manage your domain settings, pay for your domain, and renew it.
Another option is transferring a third-party domain to Shopify. If you already own a domain from a third-party provider, and you want to manage all your domain settings from your Shopify admin, then you can transfer management of your domain to Shopify. After you transfer your domain to Shopify, you no longer need to use the third-party domain service where you originally bought your domain.
Lastly, when you create an account on Shopify, you have the opportunity to either create your default domain name, which is your .myshopify.com URL. If you later decide that you want a different .myshopify.com URL domain name to display to your customers, then you can change it, but only one time. You can find more information in our help center resource.
If you have additional questions, please share them here and I’ll be happy to take a look.
