How can I change my subscription plan and request a refund?

I thought I had paid for the starter plan. I got my first few months for $1 but then was charged $41. I thought I was paying for a $5 monthly subscription after the few months for a $1. But, if at all possible, could I get a refund? And how would I go about changing my current plan to a starter plan?

It looks like you may have selected the wrong plan. In order to select the correct plan, feel free to follow the steps below:

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings, and then click Plan.
  2. Click Change plan.
  3. Review the currently available plans, and then click Choose plan.
  4. Select a billing cycle and read the description of the credit card charges that you’re agreeing to.
  5. Click Start Plan to accept the new agreement, or click Cancel.
