How can I change the background color of a product zoom modal?

Hello,

I am trying to change the background color when a customer presses on zoom in in products. I want it to be like the search bar i.e. when a user clicks on search bar the rest of the page is shadowed. The code I tried to change unsuccessfully is from section-main-product.css. I changed line 715 to background-color: black; but nothing happened. Can anybody help?
