Hey guys!
Hoping someone can help me with this small issue.. I have the studio theme and I am wanting to change the colour of the button on my slideshow block.
For some reason, all the other buttons on my website are set to the right colour I wanted but I can’t figure out how to change this button colour! I don’t want it to be white, I want it to match the rest of my buttons and I want to be able to change the font colour too.
Can anyone help please?
This is the button I’m talking about:
Please let me know your shop url and if it is password protected, please let me know together.
Find this file, look at the code that defines its colours and modify it. This is because this file overwrites the styles defined in your base.css. So it is not the same as the rest of the buttons.
Okay great, thank you so much!
I am glad I could help you and if your problem is solved, you can mark the solution as solved.
To change the color of the button on your slideshow block in the Studio theme, you can follow these steps:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Find the Studio theme and click on “Customize”.
- In the theme editor, click on “Sections” and find the “Slideshow” section.
- Click on the “Slideshow” section to expand it, then click on “Button”.
- Under “Button style”, click on the color swatch and choose the color you want.
- Under “Button text color”, click on the color swatch and choose the color you want for the button text.
Once you have made these changes, click “Save” and “Publish” to update your website with the new button color.
There is no ‘button’ option when I click into my slideshow section
I just followed the steps you gave me and it hasn’t changed the colour (I’m on mobile not desktop)
