Hi @smtechno ,
The store currency option is locked in Settings > General when you have already processed orders, as changing the currency will have an impact on your store’s metrics and figures which may not be desirable. For example, if you change from one currency to another, the prices of your products will not convert in accordance with any exchange rate and be the same figures, just with the new currency attached. In this case a 100 SAR product would become a $100 USD product after making the change, so if you did so, you’d want to adjust your prices accordingly. This rule applies to all currency and sales data you might find in the Analytics section of the Shopify admin.
If you still wish to proceed, please contact our support team and let them know that you’re wishing to change the currency on your store. They will be able to unlock this option for you and make your store’s currency available to change when you have been authenticated on the site.
Actually, I did an experiment with the orders, and the currency change in my store was locked, and now I want to communicate with the support in order for the change to the dollar, and then the prices are adjusted according to the actual dollar equivalent.. My problem now is that the communication with Shopify is disabled.!
