How can I change the design of my email eVouchers?

Good Afternoon,

I hope you’re well.

I am emailing because I’m trying to change the design of my evouchers which get sent out to customers, however, I’m struggling. The evoucher currently comes up like this when a customer receives it:

I’ve tried to change it via settings and assets but have had no luck. I would like to change the layout only on the email. I’ve seen that other Shopify users- via tutorials, can change them but I’m unable to. I’ve been told by a live chat assistant that this is down to some coding safety measurements put in place by the developers. Our major issue at the moment is that, with it being Christmas, many customers are purchasing an evoucher and the design isn’t what we want, however, we can’t change it. What can we do?

Hi @DGreen32 You can do it from notification settings, If you are not sure how to locate it then please follow the steps.

  • Login in shopify admin.
  • Click on the Setting.
  • Scroll down and you will find Notification, click on that.
  • Again scroll down and you will find Gift cards.

  • Then click on the template you want to change.
  • Once clicked you will see the default email preview of the email
  • For editing it, Click on Edit code and you will be able to edit the default template according to your needs. You will need to add the custom code according to your requirements.

If you will unable to implement the same then I’m happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.

Unfortunately, I have tried this method, but it hasn’t worked. Please may I get further assistance?

I will attach the design image we would like to use instead.

Also, is it possible to change each eVoucher design individually, or does it have to be the same across the board?

Hi @DGreen32 the design will be same across the board for all the vouchers.

Also if you want me to accomplish the same then I will need the access of your store so that I can work on it.

You will need to provide the design you want to achieve.

Hi @DGreen32

There are two ways to do this,

  1. You can provide the access of on my email or
  2. You can provide the shopify store URL(your store name/URL.myshopify.com) so that I can send you the Collaborator access.

Also it will be great if we can move this conversation from here to whatsapp or email or private email in shopify whichever is suitable for you.
