I have an account on Shopify and would like to update the email address associated with my account. This is the email I use for logging in and receiving notifications from Shopify. Could someone guide me on how to change the email address? Are there any specific steps or precautions I need to take during this process?

To update your email on Shopify:

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.
  2. Go to Settings > Users and Permissions.
  3. In the Store owner field, click your name to go to the Store profile
  4. Choose “View account settings” and the link accounts.shopify.com will be opened in a new tab
  5. Login and update the Email field there
  6. Verify the change via the email sent to your new address.

Make sure you have access to the new email and don’t forget to check spam/junk folders if you don’t see the verification email.
