How can I change the merchant name and phone number on customer bank statements?

Hi there,

I wish to change the details that appear on a customer’s bank statement after making a purchase from my site.

  • Merchant name (currently it’s a generic name)

  • Phone number (currently it’s appearing as my personal mobile).

Where can I do this?

Depending on if you use Shopify Payments as your payment gateway, you can change the information that shows on your customer’s bank statement by going to Settings > Payments then clicking Manage beside Shopify Payments. Scroll down to where you will see “Customer Billing Statement” and enter the details you would like to show.

If you are using a third-party payment gateway, you must contact them directly to change your customer billing statement settings.
