I want to change razorpay payment api key in shopify. It was connected to my previous store. but when i install razor pay in new store. shopify is automatically doing configuration with my razorpay account. i want to change api key but shopify is not demanding my api key.
Topic summary
A Shopify merchant is unable to manually update their Razorpay payment API key when setting up a new store. Shopify automatically configures the connection using credentials from their previous store, without prompting for new API key input.
Suggested Solution:
- Generate a new API key in the Razorpay account
- Navigate to Shopify payments settings
- Select Razorpay and click “Manage” to access the API details interface
Ongoing Problem:
Multiple users report that clicking “Manage” does not provide an option to edit the API key—it simply redirects back to the payment page. One merchant faces urgency as their old API key expires within 24 hours.
Status: Unresolved. The suggested workaround does not appear to function as described, and users are seeking alternative methods to update their Razorpay credentials.
Go to your razor pay account and generate new API key and then go to your Shopify navigate to your payment and select razor pay manage the setting and you will have an interface to make changes to the API details.
Let me know if that helps by making it as a solution or get back to me if you need any other help with it.
Thanks.
I am having same issue but when I click on manage it does not give option to edit and brings me back to payment page.
Did it work? I am facing the same issue. My old API key is expiring in 24 hours but I can’t replace the API key details with the new one. What do I do?
