Our store currency is Myanmar Kyats, and we sell only in that currency, so all the prices on the website are shown in Myanmar Kyats. We also manually type in all prices in MM Kyats.
The thing is that our internal price list is in USD, and the exchange rate changes every day. So, it is very difficult to manually change the price in MM Kyats every time the rate changes.
So, we want to be able to write all the prices in USD and type in the custom exchange rate, so on the website everything will be shown in MM Kyats (like we set formulas in an excel spreadsheet). So, the price in USD is visible only for us in our admin panel. And if the exchange rate changes, we can simply change the rate, apply it and all the products’ prices will be automatically updated to MM Kyats according to the new exchange rate.
We don’t want to sell in multiple currencies, we want one currency to be visible on the website, but it is difficult when the internal pricing is connected to USD, so we have to change manually more than 200 products every time the exchange rate changes. Our checkout currency is only MM Kyats.
