How can I check the domain of my outgoing emails?

I am trying to make sure that my email flow shows that it is coming from my domain.com rather than a gmail.

I am not sure if I used a domain that I purchased myself or if I set up through Shopify. How can I find this out?

To set up your custom email address you’ll need to register for email hosting through a third-party email hosting service. Since you have a Gmail account, I recommend signing up with Google Workspace.

As for your domain question, you can head over to the domain settings to find out who hosts your domain. You can refer to the guide below.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.

  2. Click your custom domain.

  3. On the next page, your domain host will be stated at the top, specifically in the area highlighted in the screenshot below:
