Hi Shopify admin,

I created a shopify store around 2 years ago mainly for the online course I was taking up at that time. I used my sister’s credit card to keep the store running. I stopped using the store for almost a year now. Just recently I tried to access it again because it is still charging my sister’s card. However I am unable to because the email address that it is associated with I am no longer able to access. I have attached screenshots of the shopify log in page as well as the gmail account log in. My sister cannot block or cancel the shopify charge because the bank will disable her credit card and she will not be able to use it for a period of time.

I just need help with canceling or closing the store since it is no longer in use and I do not want to continue paying for something that I have no use for. I don’t mind the previous monthly charges because it was a fault in my part for not canceling it, but I do not want to be charged for it moving forward.

Hey @Gervic .

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate the context that you have shared with us and I am sorry to hear about the difficulty with accessing your Shopify store. In this case, we cannot authenticate you for the store in question over the Community forums due to the sensitive information that would need to be shared. In order for us to take a closer look into the billing of the online store, we will need to securely verify you as the store owner. It would be best to reach out to our support by logging into your store using our Contact Us page. If you do not have access to your online store, you can select the option to Continue without logging in.

Whether you logged in successfully or selected the option to continue without logging in, you will be directed to our Help Center. Type in what you would like assistance with in the search bar to locate the option to Get Support under the search results. This will allow you to reach out directly to a Support Advisor about the situation.
