How can I collect customer emails using the simple theme?

You could achieve this by changing the wording of the newsletter heading to " If you want to know about sales and special offers, sign up using email "

Please follow these steps below:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

  2. Next to Simple, click Customize

  3. Click Newsletter, and then click Select. ( if you don’t have a newsletter yet, click Add section > Click Newsletter > Select)

  4. Enter a heading and a subheading for your newsletter signup.

  5. Click Save.

It’ll look like as the picture attached below:
