How can I connect my chat app to Shopify inbox?

I have a chat application for Shopify websites and I would like to integrate it with Shopify inbox.
I couldn’t find the docs for it, is it even possible?

My goal is to connect my chat to Shopify inbox so the messages from the chat will appear there.
Ideally, I would like to establish 2 way communication through my chat, but just sending the messages from my chat to Shopify inbox would be a good start.

I’m experiencing the same problem. I’ve searched across web regarding the implementation steps, but couldn’t find at all. Some of the devs said that, they integrate Inbox, through partner dashboard → apps → extensions, but when I open the same page, it returns null.

I think Shopify should reopen this integration to make the commerce better for everyone.
