I need help to get my store online and selling. I added screenshot to show what is happening. But I will explain to. I started a store with the free trial by shopify which gave me the store name Mocompti-4041.Shopify.com . I also paid for a plan to start the store and went to settings and domain to connect my domain from GoDaddy which is Mocompti.com. But it didn’t work.
I logged in and out of shopify but was actually creating 2 other store names with free trials but did not buy a plan. I only want the shopify store name Mocompti-4041.Shopify.com to link to my domain from GoDaddy which is Mocompti.com
I contacted GoDaddy and they went to my dns records and found the arecord and CName with shopify for Mocompti.4041.shopify.com .
I was asked to to contact shopify if the problem was not resolving on Shopify’s side. That’s what I’m doing now. Please help.

It outlines, you can:
Head to Settings > Domains, from the Shopify admin.
Click Connect existing domain.
Enter your domain, such as johns-apparel.info, and then click Next.
Click Connect automatically.
If necessary, log in to your Google Domains, GoDaddy, or 1&1 IONOS account.
Click Connect, and then click Close.

It’s also important to note that it may take up to 48 hours for your domain to be verified. After it’s verified, your domain is listed in the THIRD-PARTY DOMAINS section of the Domains page with the status Connected.
