I bought a domain in namecheap and upon connecting existing domain to shopifyy it says that a site with that domain already exists. How to solve these? please help!
To resolve this issue, you will need to contact Shopify Support with proof that you own the domain (a screenshot of your domain manager should suffice). Once Support has verified that you own the domain then they can remove the domain from the existing store.

already done doing this but I cannot seem to successfully reply back to the
chat support system it sucks. I got a reply from the chat support advisor
an hour ago sending my proof of ownership and issues but hasn’t been able
to get a reply yet.
That is strange. I’d recommend clearing your cache/cookies, or trying Google Chrome Incognito mode if you’re unable to fully access the chat feature.
