How can I convert website views into sales on my online store?

My store is open and public to everyone to see and I am also running Google Ads with over 1500 website views already! I haven’t gotten any sales yet though and I would like to know if there is anyone that would recommend any changes to my site for my to maybe get my first sale. My website is posted below! Please feel to buy anything if you would like also!

Please note: most of my website traffic from Google Ads and in general is mobile.

Hi @olivecarrots

Congrats on launching your store on Shopify, I really liked the first impression the site gives but here are some recommendations.

  • On the home page add some text or a banner that tells something rather than just seeing right away Featured Products, something that can tell the visitors what to expect.

  • The About link in the header does not link to an About page.

  • There is no delivery information in terms of cost and time frame which is crucial.
  • In the content section, it seems to be completely done by AI without adding unique info, also you have a post about a drone but it does not link to any drone, and nor is there a drone to find when searching on the site.

These are some of the basics.

If you have any questions or need help feel free to reach out.

Kind regards

Abraham

ok! ty so much for the recommendations! ill definetly be fixing them!

how do you recommend the way I add text to the top of the website?

Hey! I hope your doing well. we took a look at your site and the reason why it’s not converting is as it seems due to the lack of content. On your site it’s just your products, that’s it. Not much content to it. Hence it’s lacking quite bad and not driving in any sales. did you already make any sales?

Hey @olivecarrots .

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have provided your online store URL for us to explore! Looking into your store, I noticed that you currently do not have a favicon added to the homepage. A favicon is a small image that represents the business/company and will display on the browser tab. I am sure if you look towards the tabs on your browser - you may see several of favicons! You can add a favicon to your online store to have a polished look to the website - we have a guide available here.

What do you think about including a slideshow as the first section on the homepage? This can make the homepage more engaging and interactive to your visitors. It can also allow you to strengthen your brand by showcasing more products. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite products in the slides.

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

Hi @olivecarrots

You can add an html section and add something like the below

“Empowering Tech Shoppers with Fair Prices and Hassle-Free Returns at Molteq”

Kind regards

Hi there @olivecarrots

This is Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

I’m genuinely impressed, especially knowing you’re just starting out. Your site has a stylish flair while remaining clean and clear. I understand that experiencing slow traffic can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions to improve your conversion rates:

1. Use Sticky Header and resize your header

Having a sticky header means that the navigation, logo, and icons will follow the user while they scroll down the page. This is really useful if you want to ensure that your customers will have easy access to your navigation at all times.

Besides that, You should also resize your header by rearranging the position of the main paths, logo,…etc to make the header smaller. If your header is quite large, when customers scroll down the page, Some product information may be obscured.

2. Have a Hero banner section

The hero banner is often the first thing visitors see when they land on your website, so it’s essential to make a great first impression. Your hero banner can be an image or video relevant to your product with high resolution and include a Header, Subheader, and CTA button.

3. Add a Collection list to your homepage

It helps customers see an overview of your product category. Each collection also has a CTA button that links to the collection page.

4. Add Testimonials section to your homepage to gain more trustworthy

Testimonials are an essential component of any successful Shopify store. It provides social proof, builds credibility, and influences potential customers’ purchasing decisions.

5. Highlight the vital Product feature

You should display the virtual features of your product including:

  • Product Name
  • Product Prices need to display attractive and clear
  • Variant: Type/Color (Use Swatches variant that helps the customer easily identify and imagine the product instead of using just text)
  • Vital feature tag Helps highlight important product features

6. Get prepared for the upcoming shopping holiday events

Christmas is coming soon, so now is the time to start preparing for your Christmas promotion

- Offer discounts and gifts addition: You should make a promotion plan to increase your customer demand. It can be some discounts or gifts addition when customers one product then get a free related product.

- Add countdown timers for limited-time offers and flash sales. This will create a sense of urgency and encourage customers to buy now. You should set a limited time in a day that makes customers make a decision faster to order your product.

I hope you find these suggestions helpful in optimizing your website’s conversion rate. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I wish you the best of luck with your online venture.

Cheers,
Garcia

I have done test sales to make sure everything is working like shipping and to make sure ik how to fulfill orders and stuff like that but no real world sales that haven’t been from friends or family.

ok ty!

You are the most welcome @olivecarrots . I hope my recommendations can be helpful to you.
Have a great day ahead!
