How can I correct a wrong EIN number in customer payments setup?

In setting up customer payments, I entered the wrong EIN number for my business. The system asks me to correct it, but continues to repeat that the number does not match the business name. I am sure this is false because I am copying and pasting directly from the IRS notification letter, Form SS-4. There doesn’t seem to be any way to submit the document via email. How do I get thru this process?
