I accidentally put in the wrong last name for my shopify business setup and put in my social security number. But now it wants me to put in a different social security number because the setup thinks that is the issue and wont let me change my last name to match the IRS forms. This is stopping me from setting up my shopify payments and I was wondering how to fix this.
You’ll probably need to reach out to Shopify’s support team directly, for help with changing those details.
I don’t believe there’s a way to change them via the Shopify admin, once you’ve already submitted them.
