Our Basket View shows the customer what they have added and are about to order.
However, the Checkout View shows incorrect product images and unwanted descriptions. How is it possible to fix this?

With the checkout page, you cannot edit it. it’s managed by Shopify so you can just contact them for support. Refer https://help.shopify.com/en/questions#/contact
Or you can upgrade to Shopify Plus.

Just seen Shopify Plus. That’s more than a bit out of my league, at the moment I can barely pay Shopify $29 a month!

It’s only advice if you want to edit checkout page.
Therefore, I recommend you to contact Shopify directly, they will help you check it quickly.
