How can I correct the size order in Debutify theme?

Topic summary

Users are experiencing issues with product size variants displaying in incorrect order (e.g., S XL M L instead of S M L XL) in the Debutify theme.

Initial Solution:

  • One user successfully resolved the issue by manually reordering variants through the product page’s “Reorder variants” feature, following Shopify’s step-by-step process.

Ongoing Problem:

  • Multiple users need to reorder sizes across many products and find the manual, per-product approach impractical.
  • They’re seeking a bulk solution to avoid editing each product individually or exporting/importing spreadsheets.

Workarounds Mentioned:

  • One user reports using a third-party app (Ab Variant Sorter) that allows bulk sorting within the app interface, though it doesn’t involve exports/imports.
  • Another user reports that even after following manual reorder instructions and saving, variants revert to random order.

Status: The discussion remains unresolved for bulk editing needs, with users expressing frustration about the lack of an efficient solution.

Hello!

Debutify theme

On the size picker menu variants of sizes rotated on incorrect order. Want to make it from least to biggest. How is it possible to change it - in standart store contructor / code editor ?

Thank you!

Hi @Vyacheslav1 ,

You can change your variants’ order by going to your product page, then to the variant section and clicking on Reorder variants. At that point, it’s just a matter of dragging them in your desired order.

There’s a step-by-step process you can follow, here.

Is there a way to change the order of the sizes of your clothing without going through everything individually? All of our products are showing up in chronological order example: 2XL 3XL L M S XL and I would like it to show as S M L XL 2XL 3XL but not have to change every product indivually.

BUMPING THIS since there was no solution provided. IS there a way to do this in bulk WITHOUT having to export the spreadsheet and still doing the reorder?

The only way I found to do this efficiently is by using 3rd party applications. I use Ablestar which has a function to bulk sort variants, but only in-app so no imports/exports.

My sizes are showing up out of order, so I followed these instructions and after pressing save they just revert back to the previous random order. Any suggestions?
