How can I create a custom template to hide price and sold out tags in Debut Theme?

Here’s the link to the page I am referencing

https://www.shopmortimer.com/collections/pajamas

What I am trying to do is create a custom template for the first item in each of my shop pages, you’ll notice the first item cost $0.00, and says sold out.

I just need to have a secondary template, that hides the $0 and Sold Out section.

Anyone have any info on how to add this code easily, or point me in the right direction to create a new template for this adjustment ?

@shopmortimer

sorry for that issue can you please provide screenshot which one price do you have hide?

Debut theme currently doesn’t support this, you can try it with Dawn theme.
Or you need expert to change it, because when you want to automatically hide products that are sold out or cost $0.00, it affects pagination, so you need to change a lot of filtering.
Refer https://shopify.dev/themes/navigation-search/filtering
Hope it helps!

I have posted the images with some info written on them to make it more clear. Thanks everyone who have responded so far.

I don’t ever want the products hidden, the FIRST product on each page is NOT a product - its only an image to show off the product being sold - so there will never be inventory - its only for looks.

I wonder if there’s a way to create a default layout based on a Product Type ?

If its easier - can I just make the first item an Image, not a product, its only meant to show an example of the product, so it does not even have to be clickable. Just a description line with no price of quantity ?

Exactly the same task that I want to do in my shop here I tried to add it by my own but it looks pretty tough for me I just need guide about the source from where I can add this template in my shoppage I mean any platform about this topic?

Exactly the identical project that I want to do in my shop right here I attempted to feature it with the aid of my very own but it appears quite difficult for me I just want manual approximately the source from in which I can upload this template in my save websitelink I mean any platform about this topic?

@trep05

sorry but what’s issue please share us

Hi @shopmortimer

please check our app Nada - https://apps.shopify.com/nada-sort-hide-out-of-stock.

It might help you to solve the problem. It doesn’t create new section but pushes the sold-out products to the end.

The app is automatically sorting collections in real-time, so the sold-out products are always at the end of the collection and back when in stock again. You can try it for free to check that it really works smoothly.
