I have a challenge to have proper filtering option on my new website. Indeed, we have some producs (fishing rod) which have a range of the weight they can hold, and this is different on every rods/products. It is a range like “1 ounces to 6 ounces”.
As a result, this product has 2 metafields:
WEIGHT_MINIMUM = 1
WEIGHT_MAXIMUM = 6
On the collection filter, we need one filter option “Weight range” where the customer could tune the range he is looking for, with the same look as the standard shopify “price filter” section (so weight minimum on the left, and weight max on the right”.
And so this filter, should select all the products which has their metafield “MINIMUM WEIGHT” equal or higher than the Min weight of the filter, and metafield “MAXIMUM_WEIGHT” equal or higher than the max weight of the filter.
Does anybody know how to achieve that with custom code or app from the shopify store?
