How can I create a paragraph break in Shopify's 'additional scripts' section?

Im trying to create a paragraph break in the ‘addition scripts’ section. for some reason, Shopify is recognizing the html to bold a when I try to create a space between paragraphs (

), it doesn’t recognize the code. I have the basic Shopify plan if that has anything to do with it.
