I have the dawn theme and want to create a sub page from the main navigation. So if a user clicks a link they go to another page which features more collections. So if I have a header link called flowers, when a user clicks that they go to a subpage with red flowers, green flowers which are their own collections. Can anyone help?

It’s hard to create such a subpage by yourself, you may have to hire someone else to do it.
However, instead of customizing, you can try using the app (page builder) GemPages: https://apps.shopify.com/gempages
It will help you create a subpage including the collection easily.
