Shopify payment is not the only eligible gateway supported in setting up your Shopify subscription. According to the information on creating your subscription, You can also use Authorize.net, PayPal Express, and Stripe depending on your location.

With this solution, there are no additional Shopify or hidden fees/commissions charged for each payment you receive, only Stripe deducts its own fee.
