I am wanting to create something similar to the below when we move to a Theme 2.0
I want the functionality to be able to have different headings and under the headings have drop down menus which have specific items which we have selected or can enter easy enough through code or an app.
This way we can have the base listing such as a Power Rack, and then have drop down menus where customers can easily also add to cart ‘J-hooks’, ‘Chin-up Bars’, or ‘Safety Options’.
I was thinking maybe I could do something with custom liquid sections and then output a product metafield which is connected to a certain collection of items which we would want to show, but then each of these would also need an add to cart button for it to work.
We have a current method to do this but it requires a lot of work with collections, menus and the customise menu as well. See video below of what we currently have and what I would be wanting to somewhat reproduce.
Would anyone have any ideas or some sort of solution? I am even open to apps but most of the apps I have seen don’t offer anything this customisable.
