I have a tech accessories company (phone cases, iPad cases, etc.) which means that all my products have lots of model variants. I want to be able to create separate products out of the variants that go to the same product when clicked. There is an app that does this, however, it does not allow me to then put those individual variant products into separate collections. For example: for my iPhone cases, I have over 200 designs that you can get. Each design has about 18 variants that are models (iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, etc…) which I would like to be seperate products but I would like it to be that I can create a dropdown menu on my site that you can click on the iPhone model you have and only that model variant will show in the collection. I don’t know if this makes sense but please let me know if there is a solution! Thanks!
One solution to achieve this is to use a Shopify app called “Product Options and Customizer”. This app allows you to create custom product options and variants that can be used to filter products based on specific attributes like iPhone models.
You can use the app to create a dropdown menu for the iPhone models, and assign the appropriate variants to each model. This will automatically filter your products based on the model selected by the customer, allowing them to see only the relevant products.
