How can I customize the text and headings for gallery captions in Debut Theme?

Hi,

Is it possible to have the text look different for the gallery captions? Currently the text is aligned the same way and is white. I also tried to have one of the images as “image with text overlay” but could not find the code for it. Adding photos for examples of how I want it to look.

Is it also possible to edit the headings in the code? Currently it’s on the image and not in the code - so it’s not responsive.
