I activated my store accidently. I paused and build it but it costs $9 per month and I have a year sub.
I would like to Deactivate any and all stores and start a new but you want me start another plan and I already have one. I know Im missing something. I cannot get to my store admin or store owner pages. dont know why but I cant I didn’t realize how untechy I am but I am not a quiter A bad speller yes.. Please help me out
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I’m happy to provide some assistance with managing your shop, to ensure this gets resolved. To confirm I’m fully understanding, are you looking to start completely fresh with a brand new shop?
If so, you can proceed with deactivating your current Shopify Store. To complete this, you can check out our Pausing or Deactivating Your Store documentation for detailed steps. It outlines however, you can:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
Click Deactivate store.
If applicable, review the options to switch to the Pause and build plan, or start a new store.
If you still want to deactivate, then click Deactivate store.
Select a reason for the deactivation, and then click Continue.
Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.
Once successfully completed, you can register for a brand new shop by accessing our Trial Page. If however, you’d like to keep your existing shop but make some changes to the plan, products, theme, etc you can password protect the online storefront to complete this. We have a great Password Protection Document that touches on how you can achieve this without customers being impacted.
